Library locations & opening hours
All faculties at the University of Bayreuth are assigned to a specific departmental library. All print and media materials are accessible to users, i.e. they may be removed from the shelves. The individual departmental libraries are usually located in close proximity to the other geographical entities of the faculty. Their exact location can be found on the Library Plan (see below).

The library is located on the second floor of the main building of the Old Spinning Works (Alte Spinnerei). Access to the building is possible Monday through Friday until 6 pm. Please note: starting 29th July 2024 up until 4th October 2024 access to the building of the Old Spinning Works (Alte Spinnerei) will only be possible until 4 pm. If you are already inside the building before the building's closing times, you can access and use the library during the opening hours listed above.
