Restricted re-opening of the University Library

The Twelfth Bavarian Ordinance on Measures for the Prevention of Infection (12. BayIfSMV) allows for re-opening libraries to the public (given that there is a hygiene concept in place and that the number of visitors is limited).

The Main Library (Zentralbibliothek) and all Departmental Libraries are open again for borrowing and returning media.
As a result of the pandemic, library services have been severely restricted in recent months and late fees have been suspended. As of 12 April 2021, reminders will again be sent for expired loan periods.
The shipping of books for students will still be possible via our payable book mailing service .
