Accessibility of the University Library during the Corona pandemic

The library is open to the public in accordance with the requirements of the 15th Bavarian Ordinance on Measures for the Prevention of Infection (15. BayIfSMV).

The Main Library (Zentralbibliothek) and all Departmental Libraries are open again for borrowing and returning media in accordance with the 2G Rule. The current opening hours can be found here.
As of Sunday, 7th November, the FFP2 mask is compulsory again in the library. The compulsory wearing of face masks also applies to persons who have verifiably been fully vaccinated or have recovered from COVID 19. You may only take off your mask while seated at your assigned workstation. Please inform yourself about the reading room workstations in our departmental libraries further down on this page and contact the respective circulation desks when visiting our libraries.
In order to trace chains of infection, the data of all participants in each classroom course and each study session in the library must be documented. Please register via the Contact data collection using QR code if you work at a workstation in the library.
The shipping of books for students will still be possible via our payable book mailing service .
