Ebooks at Bayreuth University Library
The Bayreuth University Library has licenced numerous ebooks. Currently we provide more than 600,000. Members of the University have access while they are on campus as well as from outside the campus, apart from a few exceptions. Access from outside the campus is possible via VPN and Proxy (Firefox). In general it is not possible to access ebook via the portals Beck online, Beck e-library, Juris und JURION.
You can identify ebooks via the button “Full text” or the document type ebook in the result list. Clicking on the button will lead you to the full content. Please inform us about links that do not function properly.
Partially it takes some time until licensed ebooks appear in the library catalogue. They are already licensed but not yet searchable. Via the link “Expand search (ILL available)” you may see them in the catalogues of other libraries and find, that you have access. Some ebook collections by Springer are an example for this.
